Synopsis

All he does nowadays is watch life go by from a pedestal; actually, it was always like that for him, but the site where he is today is different, those around him are different. The forest is gone, re-placed by glass and concrete. Tlaloc sits by himself surrounded by unsuspecting passers by. His only solace is that, when he cries, every one takes notice.

Sinopsis

Ahora no le queda más que ver la vida desde un pedestal; en realidad, siempre fue así, pero el sitio donde está hoy es distinto, quienes lo rodean son distintos. El bosque ahora es de cristal y a Tláloc sólo le toca ver. Está ahí sin que muchos lo noten; su único consuelo es que, cuando llora, no hay quien no se entere de su presencia.

The challenge of this book in particular was to be able to represent a literary work that conjectures the events, thoughts and feelings that a monolithic piece called "The Rain God" had, which was transferred to a museum in Mexico City.

The characteristics of the graphic line are: full-page illustrations, short texts per page, centered paragraphs, located in flat illustration areas, only 1 font per title, regular size for reading at intermediate ages.

El reto de este libro en particular fue poder representar una obra literaria que conjetura los acontecimientos, pensamientos y sentimientos que tuvo una pieza monolítica denominada como "El Dios de la lluvia", que fue trasladada a un museo de la ciudad de México.

Las características de la línea gráfica son: ilustraciones a pliego completo, textos cortos por pliego, parrafos centrados, ubicados en zonas planas de ilustración, solo 1 fuente por título, tamaño regular para la lectura en edades intermedias.
